Poached Brisket
Insgredients:
- 1.5kg of beef brisket
- 2 onions peeled and halved
- 2 celery stalks cut into pieces
- 2 carrots peeled and sliced
- a few sprigs of parsley (optional)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 can of plum tomatos (cut the tomatos in half)
- salt to taste
Instructions:
- Put meat in a large pan and cover with boiling water
- brink to simmer over medium heat
- remove any foam from surface
- add all ingredients and let it cook for 3-4 hours or until the meat feels tender.
Use the broth for soup.
