Chocolate Salame (Portuguese)
Ingredients:
- 180gr butter
- 200gr caster sugar
- 150gr cocoa powder
- 1 egg
- 200gr tea biscuits
- aluminium foil
Instructions:
- Break the biscuits into pieces with your hands and and than crush them a bit more, I usually do this in a bowl using a glass with flat bottom to crush. Don’t over do it you don’t want it to be all dust, there should be some relatively large bits too.
- Melt the butter in the microwave and mix with the sugar until you have a a creamy mixture.
- add the egg and mix well
- add the cocoa and mix well again
- finally add the biscuits and mix, shape into a cilindre and wrap with foil.
- Take it to the fridge for a few hours or overnight until it gets hard.
- slice and enjoy!
